Network cable

Network cable is composed of RJ45 or GG45 connector and network cable, because the price is cheap and widely used in local area networks, and network cable is the most common transmission medium in integrated wiring. We can produce CAT5E,CAT6,CAT6A,CAT7 series of network cables.

Cat5e and Cat6 cables work in the same way, have the same type of RJ-45 plug, and can be plugged into any Ethernet jack on a computer, router, or other similar device. Cat5e network cable is used in Gigabit Ethernet, the transmission distance can be up to 100m, can support 1000Mbps transmission speed. The Cat6 cable can provide transmission speeds of up to 10Gbps in a 250MHz bandwidth.

Both Cat5e and Cat6 cables have a transmission distance of 100m, but when using 10GBASE-T applications, Cat6 cables can be transmitted up to 55 m. The main difference between Cat5e and Cat6 is transmission performance. The Cat6 cable has an internal separator to reduce interference or near-end crosstalk (NEXT), it also improves remote crosstalk (ELFEXT) compared to the Cat5e cable, and it has lower return loss and insertion loss, so the Cat6 cable performs better.

The Cat6 cable supports transmission speeds of up to 10G and frequency bandwidth of up to 250MHz, while the Cat6a cable can support frequency bandwidth of up to 500MHz, which is twice that of the Cat6 cable. The Cat7 cable supports frequency bandwidth up to 600MHz and also supports 10GBASE-T Ethernet, in addition, the Cat7 cable greatly reduces crosslick noise compared to the Cat6 cable and Cat6a cable.

Cat5e network cable, Cat6 network cable and Cat6a network cable all have RJ45 connectors, but the connector of Cat7 network cable is special, and its connector type is GigaGate45 (CG45). Currently, Cat6 and Cat6a cables have been approved by TIA/EIA standards, but Cat7 cables have not.

Cat6 cable and Cat6a cable are suitable for home use, on the contrary, if you are running multiple applications, it is best to choose Cat7 cable, because it can not only support multiple applications, but also better performance.
